AC/DC has announced a series of pop-up events tied to their 2026 North American “PWR/UP Tour,” running July 11 through September 29 with The Pretty Reckless supporting all dates. Pop-ups will appear in or near every tour city, offering exclusive merchandise, AC/DC-themed food and drink, interactive photo moments, and ticket giveaways. Each location will stock limited city-specific t-shirts and posters one day before concert venue sales. The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers is venturing into new musical territory with a solo country-western album titled THRASHER, due August 21st. Recorded at Nashville’s historic RCA Studio A, the project features seasoned Nashville musicians including guitarist David Rawlings, pedal steel player Bruce Bouton, and 85-year-old harmonica legend Charlie McCoy. The lead single “Plans” arrives June 26th. Flowers cited his father’s love of country music as inspiration, quoting Walt Whitman: “I am large, I contain multitudes.” He reassured fans, saying, “This is not me running away from rock and roll.” Flowers is expected to perform the new material at Newport Folk Festival and Austin City Limits. Olivia Jean, 36, has filed for divorce from rock musician Jack White, 50, after more than three years of marriage. Jean filed on June 3 in Nashville, citing irreconcilable differences and “inappropriate marital conduct,” claiming further cohabitation is “unsafe and improper.” She is requesting alimony, continued medical insurance coverage, and to remain on his life insurance policy. The couple married on stage at Detroit’s Masonic Temple in December 2022, after White proposed before a hometown crowd. Blues legend Buddy Guy will celebrate his 90th birthday with a massive all-star concert on October 1 at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Titled Buddy’s Got the Blues: A 90th Birthday Concert Celebration, the show will feature performances by Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Jon Batiste, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, Gary Clark Jr., Billy F Gibbons, Robert Cray, Jimmie Vaughan, and many more. “Can’t wait to celebrate 90 years of living, loving, and playing the blues with all my friends,” Guy said in a statement.
