The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-29 Sunday at Heinz Field – where a small crowd of fans were permitted to watch the game. Ben Roethlisberger threw three touchdown passes to rookie wide receiver Chase Claypool – who became the fourth NFL rookie since the 1970 merger to have at least two receiving touchdowns and a rushing touchdown.
The Steelers improved to 4-0 to begin a season for the first time in 40 years. They host the Cleveland Browns this Sunday in a critical AFC North match-up.
The Browns defeated the Indianapolis Colts 32-23 Sunday to improve to 4-1. The Baltimore Ravens are also 4-1 after defeating Cincinnati 27-3.
The Los Angeles Chargers visit the New Orleans Saints in Monday Night Football tonight at 8:15pm.
The NFL has had to reschedule games due to coronavirus outbreaks on the Tennessee Titans and New England Patriots that are affecting nine teams, some over weeks through November 22nd. Among the latest changes – the Denver Broncos game at New England, originally scheduled for Sunday and then moved to Monday night, was moved again, and will now be played next Sunday. The Kansas City Chiefs game at the Buffalo Bills, which was supposed to be played this Thursday night, has been moved to next Monday.
