The Pittsburgh Steelers have traded wide receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL draft, which the Steelers will be hosting. The Steelers also will receive the Cowboys fifth-round selection in 2027 in exchange for the Steelers sixth-round selection next year. Pickens was a second-round pick of the Steelers in 2022 from Georgia, and is entering the final year of his rookie contract.
The Steelers have now traded their top two selections from that draft. They had taken quarterback Kenny Pickett out of Pitt that year. They had traded him to Philadelphia prior to last season. He is now in Cleveland.
