Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien confirmed the band will resume touring in 2027 with a unique approach. They plans to perform exactly 20 shows annually on different continents, with no additional dates. O’Brien told Rolling Stone “It’s definitely happening” but said they won’t tour in 2026. The Oxford band returned to live performances last year after a six-year hiatus, playing 20 arena shows across five European cities. O’Brien explained limiting tours to 20 concerts ensures quality performances: “We want to give absolutely everything each night. We do not ever want it to be like we’re going through the motions.” He admitted feeling “done with Radiohead” after 2018 touring but rediscovered enthusiasm during 2024 rehearsals. The band recently formed a new company suggesting future plans. Their last album A Moon Shaped Pool was released in 2016. (Story URL)
