Julian Lennon disclosed he has been diagnosed with coronary heart disease and is pre-diabetic. The 63-year-old musician, eldest son of John Lennon and Cynthia Powell, shared the news on Instagram, urging fans to “get checked out sooner rather than later.” Lennon stated, “You never know what hidden health issues you may have,” adding he caught the conditions early enough “to reverse some of the damage and will hopefully be able to live a healthy long life.” This marks another health challenge for Lennon, who underwent cancerous mole removal in February 2020. He previously told Joe Rogan he gets comprehensive checkups twice yearly, saying “I like living. I want to be around for a long time.” Julian inspired Beatles songs including “Hey Jude” and “Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds,” later becoming a musician himself with 1984 debut Too Late for Goodbyes and most recent album Jude in 2022.
