Queens of the Stone Age want to hear your complaints. Josh Homme and the band launched a 24/7 grievance hotline on August 5th. Fans, friends, and foes are encouraged to call +1 (760) 437-1966 to “air their gripes and grievances, moans and groans, chagrin’, carpin’ and any judgments they wish to pass.” The band says, “No bitching too big. No whiny too tiny.” Every complaint will reportedly be “reviewed personally,” with the possibility of reaching a live person. The hotline launch follows the band’s July single “Easy Street” and comes while the group is currently supporting Foo Fighters on a North American stadium tour. Disney has released a metal-inspired villains merchandise collection, with shirts currently available exclusively in the parks. The collection features iconic villains including Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Ursula, Yzma, Kronk, and Hades, each showcasing unique metal-inspired fonts and designs. The Evil Queen design features “Mirror Mirror” in a black metal font, while Hades and Ursula pieces sport gothic metal styling. Other designs draw from traditional and thrash metal logos. Available items include T-shirts, hoodies, and sweatshirts, with pricing not yet listed online. The launch coincides with Disney’s broader villains push, including a new Villains Land under construction at Magic Kingdom and the Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After show at Hollywood Studios. Rock legend Glenn Hughes has announced his retirement from live performances following a serious health diagnosis. The former Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Trapeze, Black Country Communion, and Dead Daisies singer and bassist revealed on social media that he requires open-heart surgery. “This past year, I’ve had some health issues. The results from numerous MRIs, CT scans, and an echocardiogram have alerted my medical team that I need another open-heart surgery,” Hughes said. He added that health is his “number one priority.” A scheduled October 2nd performance in Agoura Hills, California has been canceled. The announcement is a stark reversal from August 2025, when Hughes said he felt “reinvigorated” and was “really looking forward to doing more shows.” Hughes joined Deep Purple in 1973 and released over a dozen solo albums throughout his career.
