Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, 50, revealed that his daughter, Alabama, who was a toddler at the time, said something that stuck with him before his plane crash in 2008. As he was saying goodbye before leaving for a show in South Carolina, Alabama began crying and said, “The roof’s gonna come off.” Barker also shared on Jay Shetty’s podcast that, once he reached the airport to board his return flight to Los Angeles, he was hit with an “awful feeling” and called his dad to express his fears before boarding the private plane anyway. Stone Temple Pilots vocalist Jeff Gutt says he would be perfectly content if the band never released another studio album. In a new interview with Rocking With Jam Man, Gutt said, “I would be fine with that, yeah.” However, he believes new music may still be coming. “I believe so,” Gutt said regarding whether the band is actively working toward a new record, adding the process happens organically. Gutt also revealed plans for a separate project called We Are Not Machines, featuring Evanescence drummer Will Hunt, with recording sessions planned soon with producer Bob Marlette. Rob Zombie’s iconic Firefly film trilogy is getting a deluxe eight-disc 4K Ultra HD box set, arriving October 13th. The collection includes House of 1000 Corpses (2003), The Devil’s Rejects (2005), and 3 From Hell (2019). Notably, this marks the first time House of 1000 Corpses has been released in 4K. The set features unrated versions of The Devil’s Rejects and 3 From Hell, along with making-of documentaries, commentary tracks from Zombie, behind-the-scenes footage, legacy special features, an exclusive poster, and a photography book curated by Zombie himself.
