At the Little League World Series in Williamsport Wednesday:
–The team from Henderson, Nevada routed Davenport, Iowa 14-6 to reach the United States Championship Game Saturday.
–Curacao ousted Nicaragua 12-3 to reach the International Final, also on Saturday.
In elimination games yesterday:
–The team from Hamilton, Ohio eliminated Phenix City, Alabama 11-2 and Tokyo, Japan eliminated Vancouver, Canada 7-3.
Today – Nicaragua will meet Japan with the winner moving on to face Curacao Saturday in the International final. Ohio and Iowa will play for a spot against Nevada in the U.S. final Saturday. Both games today are scheduled for 9am because of possible rain.
The International championship game Saturday in Williamsport begins at 12:30pm. The U.S. final begins at 3:30pm. The overall championship game will be played Sunday at 3pm.
