The Boston Bruins defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 6-2 last night at PPG Paints Arena. The loss was the Penguins fourth in a row. Justin Brazeau, who returned to the Penguins lineup this week after missing the start to his season because of injury, opened the scoring midway through the first period, but it was all Boston after that. The Bruins went on to score the next three goals and scored three more after Nick Robertson scored his seventh goal of the year midway through the second period.
Penguins goaltender Arturs Silovs stopped 18 of 24 shots in net last night.
The Penguins will be in California for their next three games. They visit the Los Angeles Kings Saturday night at 9pm. WISR pre-game begins at 8:30pm.
Sunday the Pens visit Anaheim for an 8pm face-off. WISR pre-game begins at 7:30pm.
