The Butler County Community College women’s volleyball team improved to 18-0 this season with a pair of victories Saturday. The Lady Pioneers lost their first set since late August against Southern Maryland 25-27, but responded by winning the next three games 25-20, 28-26 and 25-10. BC3 went on to sweep Westmoreland. Anore Robare had a career-high 45 assists in the opening match with Southern Maryland. Sarah Lucas had a career-high 26 digs in that match.
The BC3 women will be in Cleveland tonight to face Cuyahoga Community College at 6pm. They remain ranked #5 among 86 teams in JUCO Division III.
