Former Penn State running back Matt Suhey has passed away at the age of 68. Suhey played 10 seasons with the Chicago Bears after being a second-round selection in the 1980 NFL draft. He was part of the Bears Super Bowl winning team in 1985. That was the team that went 15-1 in the regular season, then beat New England 46-10 in the Super Bowl.
Suhey was born in Bellefonte, Pa. He rushed for over 2,800 yards at Penn State and 26 touchdowns. He was named First-Team All-East twice in his collegiate career.
