The Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency has announced grant funding is available to help reduce hate crimes.
The PCCD has made $10 million in Nonprofit Security Grant Program funding available to “support critical security enhancements.”
Nonprofit organizations are welcome to apply for grants of $5,000 to $150,000 which can be used for planning, training, equipment, and technology upgrades at places of worship, and community centers.
The deadline to apply is this Monday (1/12) through the PCCD website. Awards will be announced in March.
