Girls basketball:
–Butler defeated North Hills 53-43. Jordan Ryan led the Golden Tornado with 19 points.
–Seneca Valley-50 North Allegheny-36. Reece McFadden led the Raiders with 19 points. Seneca Valley is now 6-0 in Class 6A, Section 1. The Raiders are 10-5 overall.
–Oakland Catholic-55 Freeport-24.
–West Allegheny-54 Mars-43. Alexis Cashdollar netted 20 points for Mars.
Hockey:
–Mars-4 Chartiers Valley-3 in overtime. The Planets handed Chartiers Valley their first loss of the season, while remaining unbeaten at 13-0-2.
