Families are invited out to a local park this weekend for a fun activity.
The Jennings Environmental Education Center will host their Year of Community Science Kickoff program on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.
This program will discuss the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow Network and how local volunteers can help measure and map precipitation. Attendees will also be able to enjoy a warm cup of Hot Cocoa, Coffee, or Tea by the fireplace.
No registration is required but more information can be found on the Jennings Environmental Education website.
