A portion of I-79 northbound is closed near the Butler/Allegheny County line.
The accident happened on I-79 around 10:30 a.m. near the Warrendale exit in Marshall Township. A box truck reportedly went from the southbound lane, crossed the median, and hit a van in the northbound lane.
Dispatchers say there may have been a possible ejection from a vehicle.
At least one person was taken to the hospital.
The closure runs from Wexford to the Cranberry Turnpike exit.
