Morgan Wallen canceled his Saturday night Pittsburgh concert due to predicted severe weather that ultimately never reached the city. The country star announced the cancellation Saturday afternoon, citing “severe adverse weather conditions expected throughout the rest of the day and night” after consulting local officials. However, Pittsburgh only experienced light rain by evening. Wallen later explained on Instagram Stories that his team warned him about strong winds that morning. “I have a large stage and in those conditions, it could become fatal to a lot of folks around it,” he said. The singer also addressed fan speculation linking the cancellation to Friday’s incident where he threw a security guard’s phone into the audience. “I’ve been seeing a lot of nonsense about me that is simply not true,” Wallen stated. His next performance is scheduled for June 19th in Chicago. (Story URL)
