AC/DC guitarist Angus Young signed a baby at a PWR/UP pop-up event in Toronto, marking at least his second baby-signing of 2026. The first occurred earlier this year in Argentina. Band members rarely appear at these pop-up events, but AC/DC showed up to sign autographs after their Rogers Stadium concert was cancelled due to catastrophic storm damage in early September. Video captured Angus signing the infant, who was then passed to bassist Chris Chaney for an additional signature. The pop-up events typically offer fans exclusive merchandise, food, beverages, and the chance to pose with Angus’ guitar. Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has recorded a cover of Jimmy Reed’s 1961 blues classic “Bright Lights, Big City” for the Grand Theft Auto VI soundtrack album. The minimalist arrangement features drums and guitar, with Richards delivering his trademark weathered vocals. Richards has long admired Reed, calling him a “genius” and praising his distinctively relaxed playing style. “There are thousands and thousands of blues players out there and to find a unique sound and a way to play it is an extra touch of genius,” Richards said. “Jimmy Reed had it.” The Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album features 34 tracks from artists including Morgan Wallen, Travis Scott, and Rauw Alejandro. Foreigner is marking 50 years with a major touring run, bringing back original members Lou Gramm and Al Greenwood for select performances. The two won’t share the same stage, but each will join the current lineup at various dates. Gramm appears on the Rock Legends Cruise departing Miami on February 21, 2027, and plays six Las Vegas Venetian shows from March 10–20. Greenwood joins for dates in Georgia, California, and the New York area between September 2026 and May 2027. Cofounding guitarist Mick Jones, sidelined since 2023 due to medical issues, remains part of the group. “New York is where Foreigner began, so there could be no better place to celebrate 50 years of our music,” Jones said. Duncan Sheik, the singer behind the 1996 hit “Barely Breathing” and Tony Award-winning composer of Spring Awakening, is hospitalized in critical condition. A statement posted to his social media Wednesday said he “is currently receiving medical care and remains in critical but stable condition.” His family requested privacy, declining to share further medical details. The cause of his hospitalization remains unknown. Sheik’s “Barely Breathing” reached Number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100, staying on the charts for 55 consecutive weeks and earning a Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. His Broadway musical Spring Awakening won him a Tony Award for Best Original Score alongside Steven Sater. He also composed music for the Broadway adaptation of American Psycho. Story URL
