AC/DC postponed their MetLife Stadium concert last Friday due to an incoming Nor’easter, disappointing New York-New Jersey area fans. The rescheduled show is set for this Friday, October 2nd, with Foo Fighters announced as the opening act. Regular tour opener The Pretty Reckless was unavailable, with singer Taylor Momsen committed to the Aftershock festival in California and the Power to the People fest in Maryland. Former Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman has performed a piano concert for 150 rescued moon bears at Animals Asia’s bear sanctuary in Tam Dao National Park, Vietnam. Wakeman played original compositions on a Yamaha grand piano, written specifically for the event. The performance aimed to raise awareness for bears held in bile farms, where animals are caged for years unable to stand or turn around. Bile farming is the fourth largest illegal animal trade in east Asia, with Asiatic black bear populations dropping by a third in 30 years. Wakeman has supported bear rescue causes since 2016. Animals Asia CEO Dr. Jill Robinson said, “We are beyond blessed to have Rick’s support.” Wakeman’s latest album, Melancholia, was released in October 2025. Story URL
