The Pittsburgh Penguins play their final pre-season game tonight at PPG Paints Arena when they host the Buffalo Sabres. Face-off is 7pm.
The Penguins will begin their regular season Tuesday in New York against the Rangers at 8pm. The Pens will face-off against their former coach Mike Sullivan, who is now the head coach in New York.
The Penguins made 11 cuts Thursday to bring their roster down to 33. They still need to reduce the roster to the final 23 by Monday. Five players were sent to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, while six were placed on waivers, including Danton Heinen, Sebastian Aho and goaltender Filip Larsson.
