The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Buffalo Sabres 5-3 last night in exhibition hockey. It was their fourth straight victory. The Pens will complete their preseason Friday against the Sabres at PPG Paints Arena, then open their regular season in New York against the Rangers next Tuesday.
