Pirates rookie shortstop Konnor Griffin will begin a rehab assignment tonight with the Altoona Curve. Game time in Altoona is 6pm tonight when the Curve host the Reading Phils. Griffin has been sidelined with a sore throwing arm. He was batting .270 through the first 51 games of his major league career. Griffin has hit four home runs and 22 RBI’s with 14 stolen bases.
