The Pitt women’s volleyball team earned a share of the ACC title with Stanford and Sunday were given a #1 seed in the NCAA tournament. The Panthers join top-seed Nebraska, Kentucky and Texas. Stanford was given a #2 seed.
Defending national champion Penn State is a #8 seed. The Nittany Lions are the only team to have appeared in every NCAA tournament dating back to the event’s start in 1981.
