39-year old Ryan Fox of New Zealand won The Open following a birdie putt on the 18th green Sunday at Royal Birkdale to top Cameron Young by one stroke. Fox had birdies on four of his last six holes to shoot a 2-under 68 for the day and claim his first major title.
