The PIAA is suspending their playoffs for two weeks, the board of directors announced today.
In a press release, the board said that the basketball playoffs and AA swimming championships will be pushed back in hopes to allow schools time to properly assess the ongoing coronavirus situation.
Locally, three Butler county basketball teams, including the Butler Golden Tornado, were scheduled to play later this week.
It’s currently unknown when and where these playoff games will be played.
