Students at a local school district are again observing Red Ribbon Week with a variety of theme days.
Red Ribbon Week begins Monday and runs through Friday in the Mars Area School District.
Students at Mars Area High School, Middle School, and elementary schools will be wearing tie-dyed clothing tomorrow to focus on students not getting tied up with drugs. Other theme days include wearing patriotic colors, pajamas, and school colors.
Red Ribbon Week is an annual drug, alcohol, and tobacco prevention awareness campaign sponsored by the National Family Partnership.
