A virtual mini-conference focusing on American culture in the Black Lives Matter era is planned by an organization at Slippery Rock University later today.
SRU’s Frederick Douglass Institute is hosting three presenters for a program titled “Cultural and Social Disparities Among Marginalized Communities in America.” The event is set to run from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Presenters include SRU instructor of non-profit management, empowerment, and diversity studies Clitha Mason as well as an independent non-profit organization consultant from North Carolina and a library associate from Bowling Green State University.
This presentation will be conducted on Zoom and open is to the public.
