Another event in Butler is the latest to be canceled due to the pandemic.
Butler AM Rotary’s Carved in Ice festival will not be happening next month. Organizers say uncertainty around crowd restrictions and safety concerns led to its cancellation.
However, the club is still holding its 50/50 raffle. Tickets are available from any Butler AM Rotary member—the price is $20 per card. The drawing will be held virtually on February 22nd.
Also, Diehl Toyota went forward with sponsoring the event and donated $10,000 to the club so they could continue with providing support to the community.
Last year, Butler AM Rotary donated almost $30,000 to local initiatives.
Carved In Ice is already scheduled for next year, on February 11th and 12th.
