A new study shows that Butler County is leading the way in the region in terms of vaccinating its residents.
The report was done by the United Way of Southwestern PA. The data shows that 17 percent of Butler County residents have received at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine. The next closest county in the region is Allegheny at 13.2 percent.
The United Way cited Butler County’s vaccine call center, originally through the Aging Agency, as one of the reasons why Butler is leading the way with vaccinations.
