There’s still time to sign up for a virtual conference focusing on farming.
Penn State Extension is offering the “Starting and Improving Farms” Conference beginning on Saturday and continuing Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
This conference is for new and beginning farmers as well as existing and diversifying farmers. Topics will include marketing, financial management, land access, agritourism, agriculture alternatives, soil science, pest management, and food safety.
The cost to participate is $25 per person. Those interested should register through Penn State Extension’s website before Saturday morning.
