There were 81 new cases of COVID-19 and three additional deaths for Butler County Wednesday.
That now brings the county’s death toll to 395 since the beginning of the pandemic.
Locally, Butler Memorial Hospital saw a slight decline in hospitalizations since the beginning of the week. As of this morning, they were treating 20 patients for the coronavirus, with two COVID patients in the ICU. The hospital reported one death to the DOH on Monday.
Butler Health System officials also say that a majority of patients who are currently hospitalized have not been vaccinated.
Statewide, there were 5,730 new cases and 50 additional deaths.
