The Butler County Republican Committee is throwing their support behind a couple of candidates in this election cycle, but couldn’t come to an agreement on every race.
The committee held their endorsement meeting Saturday, featuring a number of candidates seeking statewide and local seats.
In the race for Senate, the committee is endorsing Dave McCormick who won over conservative commentator Kathy Barnette.
Delaware County businessman Dave White earned the endorsement for governor after multiple rounds of voting.
The committee could not reach a consensus on lieutenant governor; they instead recommended both State Representative Jeff Coleman and New Castle Mayor Chris Frye.
Congressman Mike Kelly is running unopposed in his primary and won the endorsement by a voice vote.
