The tricks and treats of the season will begin a few days early for kids in the Mars Area School District.
Mars High School Student Council is holding their annual Trick or Treat Night from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the High School.
The event is open to children in the district up to and including third grade. The evening includes trick or treating in the halls with members of school clubs, sports teams, and other organizations handing out candy at stations beginning at the auditorium doors and ending at the school front doors.
All kids must be accompanied by an adult. All those attending are asked to bring a canned good, non-perishable item, or monetary donation to contribute to a food drive for St. Kilian’s Food Pantry in Mars.
