Attorney General Michelle Henry has announced that Pennsylvania has received part of a $350 million settlement.
The marketing firm Publicis Health settled in court for $350 million due to their work with Purdue Pharma and other companies that contributed to the opioid addiction epidemic.
Pennsylvania will receive $15.7 million with the funds going to the state Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs for opioid addiction services across the commonwealth.
Also, another part of the agreement forces Publicis to disclose the thousands of internal documents with the work they did for opioid companies.
