The Butler Township Planning Commission has recommended approval of a proposed housing development.
After hearing from a representative of Gateway Engineers about plans for property at 75 Dutchtown Road, the commission voted to advance phrase one of the proposal with a few minor contingencies.
This plan is for a cluster development of 62 single family residences on approximately 32 acres that would be called The Oaks at Dutchtown. Several outstanding issues were resolved from a presentation last month but a neighbor of the property did express some concern about part of the development close to their property line and driveway.
The Butler Township Commissioners consider giving final approval to phase one of this project at their meeting later this month.
