Fans going to tomorrow’s Butler basketball game are being asked to bring a donation to help the Kids Weekend Backpack Program.
The Butler Education Association is sponsoring the donation drive that is asking families to bring non-perishable single-serve items like granola bars, crackers, soup, and pudding to school or the game.
The Kids Weekend Backpack Program helps students avoid hunger while they’re not in school by providing them food for over the weekend. View the group’s Facebook page for more information.
Friday’s doubleheader girls and boys varsity games versus Pine Richland begins at 6 p.m.
