
Two Erie County men have been charged in Butler County for stealing guns worth more than $50,000.
The incident happened on March 25th, when a robbery was reported at a home in Cranberry Township where 19 functional rifles and shotguns were stolen for a combined value of $51,352.
Police were able to connect the theft to 24-year-old Mathew Snippert of Erie and 22-year-old Coby Andrzejewski of Waterford. When they went to speak with both men at an Erie County home, they allegedly admitted to committing the crime.
All 19 guns were located to be in possession of both men.
They are facing several charges including conspiracy burglary, burglary, and receiving stolen property. They are being held in the Butler County Prison on $25,000 bail as they await preliminary hearings.
