An independent review of the attack on the governor’s mansion last month has been completed.
According to State Police, 38-year-old Cody Balmer allegedly threw two Molotov cocktails into the dining room of the governor’s mansion then called 911 a short time later and admitted to the arson.
Security Consultant Jeffrey B. Miller submitted his report to review protocols, identify gaps, and make recommendations for improvement.
State Police have already implemented several of the recommendations and continue to make improvements to security systems to prevent any similar attack from happening again.
