A group of Cranberry Township employees and volunteers are getting ready to clean up their community later this week.
Nearly 100 township staff are taking part in the 2nd annual Employee Litter Clean Up Day Friday from 8:30 to 11 a.m.
This work is scheduled to take place in high traffic volume areas not included in the Adopt-A-Roadway program including portions of Route 19, Freedom Road, Rochester Road, Longtree Way, and Mackenzie Way.
Public Works and utility crews as well as members of the Cranberry Township Police Department will be at each location to assist with safety and traffic control.
