The public is invited to help celebrate a special occasion this weekend in southern Butler County.
The Harmony Museum’s 200th Anniversary Celebration of the Mennonite Meetinghouse will take place Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Those planning to attend are asked to park at the Steamfitters and walk to the church for a cookie social, period music, and the history of the refreshed interior.
Built in 1825, this is the oldest Mennonite Church west of the Alleghenies and listed as a National Historic Landmark. More info on the museum’s website.
