A portion of Route 68 was closed for a time this weekend following a crash in Connoquenessing Township.
The accident happened Saturday around 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Evans City Road and Shannon Road.
Dispatchers say there was a head-on collision between two vehicles, including a pickup truck that went into a guardrail.
The crash was blocking both lanes of traffic, resulting in a portion of Route 68 being shut down.
There were two ambulances called to the scene, and took at least two people to the hospital.
Crews had the scene cleared and the road re-opened by 7:50 p.m.
