The public is invited to join with Mars Area School District students and families to raise money to benefit a district employee.
The Mars Area High School is holding a fundraiser for paraprofessional Luke Cisar who recently experienced a medical emergency resulting in the amputation of his leg.
Donations are being accepted online through a GoFundMe or participants are encouraged to host a neighborhood lemonade stand before the end of July to contribute to this cause.
Money raised will be used to help with financial challenges related to missed work, accessibility needs, and ongoing medical and mobility expense.
