The state is sending supplemental payments for select recipients of the LIHEAP program.
If you received a LIHEAP assistance and have a family member with a disability, you’ll be receiving an additional $100. Around 193,000 households are eligible for the program.
Officials with the Department of Human Services say the extra funding is being sent to help vulnerable citizens make ends meet.
The payments will be sent out automatically.
