A new executive director has been appointed by the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Association.
Tuesday morning, the Dairymen’s Association announced Patrick Carney will take over the executive director rule on August 17.
Carney, the current Vice President of Marketing of the North East association, will replace Dave Smith who will remain with the organization as an advisor.
In statement released to the media, Carney called the appointment an honor.
“I am honored to join such a highly respected organization that proudly represents Pennsylvania’s dairy industry and is home to one of the Commonwealth’s most iconic traditions—the Pennsylvania Dairymen’s Milkshake.”
