Two local municipalities are receiving state funding to update traffic lights at two major intersections.
The state announced Butler and Cranberry Townships will both receive grant funding.
Butler is getting $316,000 for traffic light modernization at the intersection of Route 8 and Beech Road.
Cranberry is receiving $530,000 for upgrades at Route 19 and Dutilh Road.
The state is providing $38 million to different municipalities for traffic light upgrades.
