A Bruin man has pled guilty and was sentenced to leaving a threatening package at the State Police Barracks in Butler earlier this year.
The incident occurred back in April when 69-year-old James Lachesky left a package that include various threatening letters, a loaded shotgun shell, and a loaded rifle shell at the Barracks located off New Castle Road.
When officers went to Lachesky’s home, he’s accused of pointing an iPad at an officer as if it was a gun.
On Thursday, Lachesky pled guilty to terroristic threats and was sentenced to 3 to 23 months and 15 days in prison and a year of probation upon his release.
Lachesky has been imprisoned since his arrest in April and will receive time served but will not be paroled until a valid parole plan is submitted. Lachesky also cannot harass, have violent contact with the police, or victim.
