A local man has been indicted after he was found with numerous firearms and had an intent to commit terrorism last month.
According to the Department of Justice, a federal grand jury has indicted 21-year-old Jonathan Kramer of Valencia on charges of receiving a firearm and ammunition, knowing or having reasonable cause to believe that the firearm and ammunition would be used to commit a felony or a Federal crime of terrorism.
After Kramer was released from jail in March of this year, the FBI determined he was claiming online that he was affiliated with ISIS.
The FBI then observed Kramer in Cranberry where picked up a black bag containing a gun from another man and tracked him back to the Cranberry Park Hotel where a search warrant was executed in his hotel room. The FBI found a rifle, magazines, ammunition and more.
Kramer remains in custody and could face for a maximum total sentence of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to $250,000, or both.
