After a supervisor meeting earlier, this week Adams Township has lifted the burn ban.
The ban put in place in April due to dry and windy conditions was intended to prevent even controlled burns from spreading into larger fires.
As moisture moves into the area the threat of burns becoming larger have been reduced.
