Butler Health System is seeing improvement in their finances.
Although merging with Excela Health to create Independence Health System, Butler still reports its finances independently.
Moody’s Ratings recently upgraded Butler Health System’s outlook from negative to stable.
Moody’s said in a statement that the ratings “reflect their solid market position, which has been strengthened as part of the Independence Health System integration.”
Excela Health had their ratings affirmed as stable.
Moody’s did note that competition will remain tough with the larger Pittsburgh providers.
