Nurses at Butler Memorial Hospital are expected to vote on ratifying a new contract today.
After authorizing a strike last week, Independence Health System said they reached a tentative agreement with the nearly 500 nurses at the hospital.
Union officials say they are scheduled to take a vote on the new agreement today.
