Police say a Boyers man caused an accident and then fled the scene without exchanging information.
The accident happened Tuesday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. at the intersection of Route 108 and Route 8.
Police say 63-year-old Timothy Hindman was slowing to a stop when he rear-ended another vehicle.
Both drivers then drove to a nearby parking lot, but that’s when Hindman allegedly took off without exchanging information.
Police were able to track Hindman down at this house and charged him with a hit and run.
